Henry Russell Sanders became the head coach of the Bruins in 1950s. This move was proved to be successful for the team. They experienced their major success during this decade. Under his tenure, the team compiled an overall record of 66–19–1 in nine years. Henry Russell Sanders were replaced by Terry Donahue in 1980s. He was the head coach of the team in 1980s and 1990s. Under his leadership as the head coach, the Bruins compiled a 151–74–8 record, which includes 13 bowl games. The bruins set an NCAA record of eight straight bowl wins. They have won 17 conference titles since their formation. The UCLA Bruins play their home games at Rose Bowl stadium. It is located in Pasadena, California.
