It has been a long week of preparations for the Chicago Bears as they plan to take on

After the weekend got off to a slow start for the Cubs and they faced a one run defeat against the Pirates with a close 7-6 loss that had fans biting their nails all game long. However, the Cubs were ready to make a comeback to close the weekend out. On Sunday the Cubs’ match up against the Pirates was all about the performances of Anthony Rizzon and Alfonso Soriano. Rizzon had two home runs during the game while Alfonso hit an RBI single during the game that would be his 100th RBI of the season. The Cubs went on to win this game 13-9 in a victory that had Chicago fans on their feet. When the series comes to an end on Monday, the Cubs will need to make a quick transition to get ready to take on the Reds on Tuesday in what promises to be an exciting home match up. When the new regime took over this winter they preached patience and that things would get worse before they got better. Well they were right.
