With Chicago based games this week that showcased the skills of the highly-talented Chicago Bulls and several games slated for the United Center next week, local fans will have plenty of chances to see the Bulls live as they gear up for the season ahead and get ready to see the Bulls in their real season form and as they plan to see the return of Chicago Bulls star Derrick Rose. Fortunately, for football fans, the Chicago Bears who are currently tied in the top spot of their conference will be playing at home this week in a game that fans hope will help the Bears continue their latest win streak.

While the city awaits the upcoming winter sports season, big news has been getting Chicago soccer fans excited, even as the Chicago Fire are on a current two week break during the season. This is because Chicago will be hosting one of the most adored soccer teams in the world; the US Women’s Soccer team next week. The team is on their current fan tribute tour, which is taking them around the country so fans of the Olympic Gold medal winning team can see the ladies up close and personal.

The tour will be making its way to the city of Chicago on October 19th as the ladies stop in Chicago’s Toyota Park for an open practice. The practice will take place at 5 pm and allow fans to see the team warm up and take the field in a way they have rarely been seen before. This practice will be helping the women gear up for their friendly game that Saturday the 20th of October which will take place at 5:30 pm in Toyota Park. This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance for fans to see the gold medal winning team up close and personal and according to new reports from Ticketmaster more than 14,000 tickets already sold in the weeks leading up to the game.
