Oh Chicago!!!!!!

After the Cubs finished off the week and their away series against the Rockies, they suffered another series loss in Colorado. The Cubs, who are poised to reach 100 season losses for the year; the first time since 1966 are looking to rally as they make the trip down to Arizona to take on the Diamondbacks in what is expected to be another close series of play. Chicago fans are seeing this series and the Cubs upcoming games as essential for lifting their current losing streak and getting the team back on track to finish out the season strong.

However, the Cubs aren’t the only team with important games on their minds. Over the weekend the Chicago Fire will be hitting the Road to battle Kansas City at Livestrong Park. With seven wins in their last eight matches, Chicago has positioned themselves in a second place spot in the Eastern Conference. If they are able to secure a win against Kansas City they will secure the playoff spot they have been hoping for. Coming off an exciting 2-1 win over the Columbus Crew last weekend, the Chicago Fire will be looking to secure that same type of heat to help them dominate in this very important game.

However the Chicago Fire aren’t the only Chicago team with playoff dreams in their minds. The Chicago White Sox are also looking to clinch a playoff spot. The sox will, however, need to find a way to overcome the Tampa Bay Rays who edged out the White Sox Thursday evening in the Sox’s home opener at US Cellular Filed; 3-2, late in the ninth inning. The Sox are looking to gain control of the series and get back on track to their playoff dreams over the weekend as they finish off this four-game home series.
