This weekend brought a great deal of excitement to the Windy City, especially at downtown Soldier Field when the Bears pulled out one of the most exciting wins in recent history to clinch a victory against the Panthers. After struggling early on in the game, the Bears came back from a major deficit late in the fourth quarter to secure a win 23-22 over the Panthers. Fans of the Chicago Bulls were dealt some hard news when it was revealed that injured star Derrick Rose will not only not be returning to the team for their first regular season games this week but that he will likely not even be on the bench for games. The news came as a hard blow for many Chicago Bulls fans who were hoping for a miracle and a quicker return for their city’s star. While fans won’t be seeing much of Rose they will be seeing the rest of the Chicago Bulls live in their first regular season game this week, which will kick off on Wednesday October 31st.
