30 Seconds to Mars Tickets
Led by famed actor and singer, Jared Leto, the band 30 Seconds to Mars has created their own unique sound and image that is a far-cry from the Hollywood scene that first brought their lead singer to fame. Leto formed the band with his older brother Shannon as a side project to compliment his wildly successful acting career. With a massive underground following and several k albums under their belt; 30 Seconds to Mars has emerged as one of the most respected heavy metal bands in recent history.
Since the band first started in 1998, they have had several line-up changes and their current lineup consists of Jared Leto, Shannon Leto and Tomo Milicevic. Although they began by doing live performances at smaller venues around the country, the band didn’t release their first studio album until 2002. This self titled album was a modest success, and lead the band to release their sophomore album, A Beautiful Lie; an album that would truly launch the band’s career. The platinum selling album secured the band’s position as one of the most successful and influential heavy rock groups. The album was used as source material for the group’s nation-wide event, A Beautiful Lie Tour.
Throughout their career, the band has won numerous awards including a Billboard Music Award for Modern Rock Artist of the Year, a Fuse Award for Best Music Video, several MTV music awards, and more. The rock group’s latest album, titled This is War has spawned several live performances around the country and has earned the band a great deal of critical acclaim. Although the group never embarked on an official tour for the album, they did promote the album through several live performances as well as some acoustic concerts that were staged around lead singer Leto’s numerous philanthropic trips to Hati.
Despite their successful album sales, the band is perhaps most known for their explosive live performances. This progressive rock band uses influences from several types of rock music in each of their songs and in the style and energy behind their live performances. Although they are primarily considered to be post-grunge, the band takes influences from emo, synthetic rock, and screamo music. Their sound, which is often compared to bands like Pink Floyd, has lead 30 Seconds to Mars to be some of the most entertaining live performers in music today.
