Aerosmith Tickets
Known as "The Bad Boys from Boston," Aerosmith is an American rock and roll band that has been together for over thirty years. The band has had many members through the years, but they immediately started setting ticket sales records. The band's incorporation of heavy metal, glam, pop and even rhythm and blues styles has influenced and inspired other rock based artists. Formed in 1970 in Boston, Massachusetts, members of Jam Band, guitarist Joe Perry and bassist Tom Hamilton met up with singer Steven Tyler, drummer Joey Kramer, and guitarist Ray Tabano to form what was Aerosmith. However by 1971, Tabano had been replaced by Brad Whitford and the band immediately started to become popular on the east coast.
In 1972, Aerosmith signed with Columbia Records and shortly after they would release their debut album which would set off a string of multi-platinum albums. They would soon break into mainstream rock and roll and fans with Aerosmith tickets would see the band in sold out venues and at their earliest success. Their 1976 release "Rocks" would indulge in the band's hard rock superstar status and by the end of the 1970's, Aerosmith had developed such a rabid fan base that their fans were often referred to as the "Blue Army". Such popularity reinforced the idea that Aerosmith was already considered among the most popular hard rock bands in the world.
Soon after though internal conflicts and the bands drug use would result in the departure of Perry and Whitford. The two members would be replaced by Jimmy Crespo and Rick Dufay and the band soon saw a decrease in popularity. Although their next album, "Rock in a Hard Place", would go gold it was a far cry from their previous releases. Aerosmith would not fare well in popularity in the early 1980's and they were determined to regain its power by sobering up. Perry and Whitford returned and they signed with Geffen Records. Their next album "Permanent Vacation" would immediately put the band back on the top of the mainstream charts. Aerosmith tickets would sell out in minutes and complete their return in popularity. Their comeback can be described as one of the most remarkable in rock 'n' roll history.
They would continue to tour all over the country and fans with Aerosmith tickets would come out in masses to see the hard partying rockers. Their tours are constantly in the top ten of highest grossing tours whenever they hit the road. They hold the record for the most gold and multi-platinum albums by an American rock group. More recently they would be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. More recently it has been reported they are putting the finishing touches of a new album and plan to tour in support of it.
