When sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson first came together to form their band Heart, rock fans were captivated by their unique rock sound. By proving to the world in the 1970s that women really could rock, Hear came on with numerous chart topping hits suchas “Magic Man” “Crazy on You” and “Barracuda” that had audiences rocking. Combining their raspy vocals with their expert guitar and instrumental skills, Heart became one of the biggest acts in rock and one of the first women rock groups to sing and play their own instruments.
After reaching major success in the 1970s they continued to top the charts throughout the 1980s and 1990s with monster hits such as “What About Love” “If Looks Could Kill” and “These Dreams” cementing the duo as female rock legends. What is most shocking about this band is that in addition to finding success together as a group, each sister has had their own individual success. Each has gone out on solo efforts in writing music for major motion pictures, proving there was no limit to the success of this singing sisters.

They have had four Grammy nominations been showcased in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum and received Lifetime Achievement aAwards from the Grammy Foundation Northwest and the VH1 Rock Honors programs. The girls have also garnered a great deal of success with their tours, which are notoriously characterized by Heart’s high energy rock performances.
