Nickelback Tickets
Nickleback is an alternative band formed in Alberta, Canada. Chad Kroeger, Mike Kroeger, Ryan Peake and (original drummer) Brandon Kroeger came together to create a band that epitomized the term "post-grunge." Taking influences from Pearl Jam, they developed their own unique sound of rock from their first 7-track EP called "Hesher" to their most current, "Dark Horse." Nickelback tickets have been some of the most popular on the summer concert circuit. "I want every single song to be amazing. That's what I want to hear, so that's what we have to try to provide to our fans." This quote, proudly proclaimed by the lead singer Chad Kroeger shows the band's desire to please their audience both on their recordings and live in-concert. Their humble beginnings in 1996 could never have predicted their overwhelming success in the next century.
In 1996 after the EP, the band recorded their first full-length album "Curb." It did little on the charts and radio-play for the album was sparse. However, not easily discouraged, Nickelback followed up with an independent release called "The Slate." It was during this time they officially signed with EMI and Roadrunner Records. Their album was re-released, only this time with a major record label behind it. With experienced marketing and a unique sound this would give the band the exposure they needed. Fans with Nickelback tickets would be treated to a great high energy show and soon the band would begin to quickly sell out their shows all over the country. In 2002 they released the album "Silver Side Up" and the single "How You Remind Me" would quickly rise to #1 on the charts. Adding to its powerhouse success was its ubiquitous sound?the song began to chart on Mainstream, Modern Rock and Pop charts. It also made a top 5 slot on the Adult charts. "How You Remind Me" was followed up by two more successful songs: "Too Bad" and "Never Again". Both songs rated high on the charts, solidifying the band's spot as one of the hottest bands around.
The bands next release "All the right reasons" would bring them their greatest success. It would chart five top 20 singles and go platinum seven times over. Billy Gibbons from ZZ Top and Dimebag Darrell of Pantera both would guest on the recording. The band would tour extensively in support of it and fans with Nickelback tickets would turn out en mass to hear the major recording artists.
The band would tweak their sound with their latest release "Dark Horse". Mike Kroeger described their first single "This Afternoon" as an acoustic, rootsy flavor, along with some downright country-style guitar licks. Acknowledging country music as a large part of their upbringing, the band was not afraid to stretch the envelope with regards to their sound. Successfully blending both sounds have made Nickelback a mainstay in the music industry. In concert and on their CD the band gives their audience the best and most creatively charged music possible. Recently the band has stated they will go back on the road and tour in support of the album. Don?t miss out on all the action this summer. Be some of the first to get up close with Nickelback tickets on this latest jaunt.
