Roger Waters: The Wall Live Tour 2012 is coming to Chicago on June 8th at Wrigley Field. Roger is a former founding, band member of Pink Floyd and is the first band member to perform The Wall in its entirety since Roger performed the album live back in 1990.
It is said that The Wall Live Tour show is one of the most complicated Rock tours ever staged costing $60 million just to stage it. The show has been on tour worldwide starting back in the fall of 2010 and will continue through 2012.
Roger has incorporated a strong emphasis on delivering an anti-war message in the show. He has encouraged the fans to send pictures of their loved ones who have passed away resulting from a war. Fans will be deeply moved and may express a lot of emotion when they witness The Wall Live Tour for the first time.
During the pre-show there be a homeless man pushing a cart through the aisles while briefly talking to the fans as recorded music is being played in the background by entertainers John Lennon, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Billie Holiday and some other entertainers.
During the first half of the show, the wall will be built brick by brick until the last brick is placed on the top of the wall. Once, the wall is built there will be music being played with words being displayed on the wall, along with various pictures and visuals. The purpose of the Wall is to send a strong message about war and about the government.
The Wall Live Tour 2012 is something you do not want to miss because it will have a powerful, emotional message. While the show is being toured worldwide, it will only be in Chicago for one time, which will be on June 8th 2012 at Wrigley Field in Chicago.
