The Austin City Limits Music Festival Tickets
The Austin City Limits Music Festival is an annual three day American music festival that is held in Zilker Park of downtown Austin, Texas. The city’s public park routinely hosts the event which includes music as well as food and art from local vendors. Typically the Austin City Limits Music Festival will bring together well over 100 acts from all over the world and typically has an attendance of more than 70,000 fans. The festival first started in 2002 and was named after the legendary PBS concert series. The annual festival is produced by the Austin-based company C3 Presents who also do Lollapalooza. For more than ten years the festival has been taking place in the same location in Zilker park and although it usually takes place in September of every year, the 2012 event will be held in October. The October event will include performances from The Black Keys, Weezer, Jack White, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Avett Brothers, Iggy and the Stooges, The Shins, The Roots, Black Lips, The School of Rock and more. The festival typically makes it a point to include bands not only of different genres but both well established and up and coming bands to give concert go-ers a unique festival experience.
