The Fray Tickets
Wildly successful pop-rock band The Fray first came together in 2002 and by 2005 they had achieved great commercial success with their first hit album How to Save a Life, an album that also featured a chart topping single of the same name. Their first single from this album was a song titled “Over My Head (Cable Car)” which quickly became a top ten hit in the United States and remained on the charts for weeks. The song also achieved great global success and helped launch the band to international superstardom. When “How to Save a Life” was released, the band achieved great fame across the globe especially when the hit song was featured on the popular television show Grey’s Anatomy. Their first album would go on to be certified double platinum.
The Fray followed up the success of this album with numerous other successful albums, including their self-titled sophomore album that would get the band a Grammy Award nomination for Best Pop Vocal Album in 2010. The band’s unique approach to rock music, which uses a piano as the main instrument has allowed the Fray to stand out from other group’s in the industry and create a sound all of their own. Although the band is known for creating very pop-driven rock music, they have managed to branch out into other forms of music as well to show their versatility. They have collaborated with R&B and rap superstar Timberland and even shown their more classical approach to music on their Christmas Ep; a song that featured acoustic covers of Christmas carols.
Since their first success, the group has gone on to received numerous Billboard Music Awards and nominations as well as several Grammy nominations for their work. They have also continued to have great success on the charts and have had numerous hit singles including “Look After You,” “You Found Me” and “Never Say Never.” The group has also been on several successful nation wide tours and will hit the road again in 2012 for a summer-long tour. The tour will pair the band with mega recording artist Kelly Clarkson and will take The Fray to numerous large venues across the country.
