Wisin and Yandel Tickets
The reggaeton duo known as Wisin & Yandel or Wisin Y Yandel, are comprised of Juan Luis Morera Luna (Wisin) and Llandel Veguilla Malave (Yandel). The performers first came together in 1998 in their native country of Puerto Rico and have continued to perform together and collaborate with other popular artists in the industry. Although they have had many successful albums on their own, especially in their native country, the duo has also seen great commercial success with their collaborations in the hip hop, pop and R&B music industries. Their collaborations includes the likes of Gloria Estefan, Nelly Furtado, Jennifer Lopez, Enrique Iglesias, 50 Cent, Sean Kingston and other artists.
Although their collaborations with other artists have helped the duo garner commercial success in the United States, the duo’s careers and their own records have helped cement them as one of the most talent acts in music today. During their career they have earned 11 Platinum certified plaques in the United States and Puerto Rico, they have also had 11 Platinum and eight Gold albums in Latin America. The group currently holds the record for the most number one hits on the Billboard Latin Rhythm Airplay charts. The group has held this record since 2005, and also hold the record for most number one hits for a group on the Billboard Latin Songs chart.
The Latin Grammy winning group has also gone on to win American Music Awards, proving their ability to cross over into the American music market. They have been acclaimed by many American publications as the hottest artists to come out of Puerto Rico in recent years, and their successful collaborations have proved just how hot this duo really is. After their slue of successful records, the band decided to head out on their first headlining international tour in 2011. The tour was so successful that the duo was invited to join Jennifer Lopez and Enrique Iglesias on their highly anticipated summer tour.
The tour, which is expected to be one of the biggest and most successful concert series of 2012, will delight Latin music fans from all over North America. The tour is expected to feature solo performances from the group as well as collaborations with both Iglesias and Lopez and will prove once again that the duo has the ability to add their own unique reggae sound to nearly any performance.
