Def Leppard Tickets
After more than 35 years in the rock music industry, the wildly popular group Def Leppard is hitting the road again for a country-wide tour to share some of their most beloved hits with old and new fans alike. The band first formed in 1977 as part of the New Wave British Heavy Metal movement. Since they first achieved commercial success with their 1981 album High ‘n’ Dry, the htoup has sold more than 100 million albums world wide. They have had two albums, Hysteria and Pyromania with diamond certification.
Over the course of their career, Def Leppard has had 12 studio records released. They have won and been nominated for American Music Awards, MTV Video Music Awards and been recognized as one of the highest selling and most successful bands of all time. Although originally formed in the UK, they have had tremendous success in the United States especially with their hits like “Pour Some Sugar on Me,” “Animal” “Photograph and “Two Steps Behind.” They are one of only five rock n’ roll bands in history to have two original studio albums to sell over 10 million copies in the United States.
Even with numerous albums, decades in the industry a handful a successful world wide tours, and several line-up changes, the band still wasn’t done doing what they do best; creating rock music. In June 2011 the band released a double live album named Mirrorball that contained three new tracks and live recordings of some of their most famous work. To promote the album, Def Leppard decided to head out on another world-wide tour to provide fans with live performances of some of their classic hits and a sampling of their newly recorded songs. The tour had legs both in Europe and the United States.
Hot off the success of the Mirrorball tour the band decided to embark on their latest concert tour, which will take the band around the United States, beginning in June of 2012. On this tour, Def Leppard will be joined by Poison and Lita Ford. With tours stopping only in select cities and with tickets already selling fast, fans will need to quickly fast in order to enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime concert event and to see Def Leppard performing together on stage once again.
