Demi Lovato Tickets
American singer-songwriter, actress and musician Demi Lovato first rose to fame with her roles on Disney Chanel programs such as Sonny with a Chance, Princess Protection Program and Camp Rock. While her acting talents were on these programs were well accepted by audiences young and old, it was the multi-talented artist’s singing abilities that had fans entranced.
Lovato released her debut album, titled Don’t Forget in 2008, while still acting for the Disney Chanel. The record was an instant success, debuting at number 2 on the Billboard 200 charts. Audiences of all ages loved her upbeat pop melodies and her raw vocal talent. The album was co-written by members of the successful teen boy-band The Jonas Brothers, and Lovato joined the singing trio for many of their live shows on their nation-wide tour.
Demi Lovato followed up her successful first album with the record Here We Go Again, an album that would also spark a world-wide headlining tour. The album was ranked as one of the best pop albums of 2009 by Allmusic, and had several successful singles on the Billboard Hot 100. The album also gave the young singer a chance to show off her vocal talents in an entirely new way, as the majority of the album featured acoustic songs. While the album was a big departure from her first very pop-centered record, it helped cement the singer’s reputation as one of the most talented artists of her generation and helped her step away from the Disney spot light.
In 2011, Demi Lovato’s third album Unbroken was released and touched on many of the young star’s personal issues she dealt with during 2010 and 2011. Although the album’s release was delayed nearly a year as the singer took personal time off, it proved to be her most successful album to date. Her hit single from the album “Skyscraper” went platinum and had a top ten debut on the Billboard Hot 100. This album once again gave fans an entirely new side of the singer and featured power ballads and a great deal of R&B influence. The success of Unbroken lead to the announcement of Lovato’s Summer Tour 2012 which will travel throughout the United States until September 2012.
