Often called the outlaw of the country music industry; Eric Church has established himself not only as a rebel in the genre but as one of the most innovative country music stars to date. After his first album Sinners Like Me was released in 2006, underground fans across the country began taking notice of the unique sound of Eric Church. With his hard-edge attitude and larger-than-life high energy performances, Eric Church has be entrancing audiences of all types as he continues to take over the country music scene.
After Sinners Like Me saw success, with two singles “Two Pink Lines” and “Guys Like Me” reaching the top 20 on the charts, Eric Church began touring the country with the likes of Brad Paisley and the band Rascal Flatts. Church soon released his 2008 album Carolina which spawned his fifth single “His Kind of Money (My Kind of Love)” and “Love Your Love the Most,” the album went on toe have a handful of songs on the charts.
Banking off the success of his first two albums, Church came out with 2011’s Chief, his biggest success to date. The album debuted at the #1 spot on the Top Country Albums Chart and on the Billboard top 200. In the first week the album sold over 145,000 copies. Chief later went on to grab Church a nomination for the 2012 Grammy Award for Best Country Album as well as his first #1 single “Drink in My Hand.”
After his successful tours with Rascal Flatts and Gary Allan, Miranda Lambert, Josh Kelley, Jason Aldean and Toby Keith, Church is finally embarking on his own headlining tour. The 2012 tour, titled Blood, Sweat and Beers will take Church along with opening act Brantley Gilbert across the nation to numerous venues. The title of his first tour alone can be used to sum up the rough singers attitude and his hard work, determination and love for a good beer. With his rebel persona backing his irresistible songs and his high-energy performances, Church’s first nationwide tour promises to be one not to miss.
