When the American music singer and songwriter Martina McBride first burst on the music scene she was quickly given the name ‘the Celine Dion of Country Music’ for her tremendous voice, her powerful ballads and her impressive soprano range. In 2011 she set a record for most nominations for the CMA Female Vocalist Award with 15 total nominations and 14 consecutive nominations.
