Country crooner Miranda Lambert is known in the country music industry as having one of the best true-country sounds in the business. Her powerful singing voice and true country twang come together to deliver some of the most entrancing vocal stylings of any country singer today. With numerous awards and hit records under her belt, and a recent show-stopping Superbowl appearance with husband Blake Shelton, this country music star as cemented herself as one of the biggest acts in the industry.
Miranda Lambert first rose to fame when she was a finalist on the 2003 season of Nashville Star, the singer used the show as a platform to launch her career and released her debut album Kerosene. This record featured her first single and the major hit, “Me and Charlie Talking.” This song, along with other hit singles from the record including “Bring Me Down,” “New Strings” and “Kerosene,” helped launch the album to its platinum level status, as all of the singles were top 40 hits. Even with the major success of Kerosene Lambert’s career was only just beginning.
Lambert went on to release three more successful albums and has had number one hits in songs like “Heart Like Mine” and “The House That Built Me.” The singer has gone on to receive numerous ACM awards, including the Album of the Year award. She has also won a Grammy Award for her work on “The House That Built Me,” as well as numerous other ACA and CMT awards throughout her career.
In addition to her successful albums and numerous hit singles, Miranda Lambert has helped cement herself as one of the hottest acts in country with her numerous successful tours. The singer has hit the road with some of the biggest acts in country including Eric Church, Lady Antebellum, Toby Keith, Kenny Chesney and Brad Paisley. She has also headlined her own successful nation-wide tour, the Miranda Lambert: Revolution Tour which took her around the country with acts like Pat Green and Little Big Town. She is also headlining the On Fire Tour which begins its countrywide jaunt in 2012. The tour will feature acts like Thomas Rhett and Lee Brice and will feature songs from her album Four the Record, as it tours through the summer of 2012.
