Tedeschi Trucks Band Tickets
After performing under the name of the Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi Band, this performing duo soon became the Tedeschi Trucks Band and quickly became one of the fastest growing blues rock groups in music today. Originating from Jacksonville, Florida and formed in just 2010, this band contains husband and wife musicians Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi. The group typically performs together with only two performers or with guest appearances from members of their individual solo bands.
Each musician was in a band of their own, yet decided to form a new band together assuming it would be better for their marriage. The seasoned musicians quickly found out that by joining forces they would create a truly magical sound that would catapult them to fame. In just a year in the business this unique duo began to rise to the top of today’s music scene, after playing at numerous festivals the band released their debut album together; Revelator. That album would go on to win the Grammy Award for Best Blues Album. This album also got the Tedeschi Trucks Band a great deal of critical acclaim from magazines such as Rolling Stone.
The group followed up this successful album with Everybody’s Talkin’ which featured live performances and covers of rock, R&B and gospel hits. The band’s second album proved to be a hit as it was clear that no one could get enough of this duo’s unique blues and rock infused sound. With the success of this live 2-CD album the married band decided to take their show on the road on an official tour around the United States. Form the moment the tickets went on sale, numerous locations began selling out proving that there were fans around the country who simply could not wait to experience this band live.
This tour will be taking the Tedeschi Trucks Band band to venues around the country as they perform their hit songs as well as some of their favorite covers. The group’s tour will last through most of 2012, and while they have already added performances to accommodate their sold out shows, fans are encouraged to act fast if they want to experience this unique act live and in person.
