When The White Stripes first came on the music scene, Jack White served as the group’s guitarist, pianist and lead vocalists. However, even with a wildly successful career, the band split up in 2011, leading to Jack White’s breakout solo career. In 2012, Jack White released his freshman solo album Blunderbuss to positive critical reviews and commercial success, as White showed his many fans and fans of The White Stripes, that he had the talent and star power to deliver powerful musical performances on his own. With his first single “Love Interruption” finding early success before the album even released and with a highly acclaimed first solo performance on SNL, fans were more than sure that Jack White was on his way to a successful career outside of The White Strips name.
In addition to his wildly successful debut solo album, Jack White’s talents have garnered him a great deal of respect in the music industry. In addition to being ranked by Rolling Stone as one of the “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time” he has also had numerous other solo collaborations with some of the top names in rock n’ roll including Jeff Beck, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, Beck and The Insane Clown Posse.
After the success of his first solo venture, White also decided to take his act on the road, touring in the summer of 2012 to numerous music festivals across the world including the famous Austin City Limits Music Festival. He will continue his solo tour throughout 2012 bringing his unique sound to venues across the world as he tours with two different bands, The Peacocks and The Buzzards, that help him deliver a unique sound with every show. On this new show, fans can expect the same soulful voice that White is known for as well as his impeccable instrumental talents as he delivers a new version of his classic rock sounds for fans from around the world to enjoy.
