Vince Gill Tickets
Very few country artists have had the same type of impact on modern country music today that Vince Vill has had. This can be seen through his long and successful career that first began back in 1979 when Gill appeared as the front man of the Pure Prairie League. When performing with this band, Vince Gill and his group had several hits including the top ten pop hit “Let Me Love You Tonight” in 1980. After the group broke up, it was time for Vince Gill to take the music industry by storm on his own. This is when the multi-talented singer and musician debuted his mini-album Turn Me Loose. This successful short album would later spawn chart topping singles like “Victim of Live’s Circumstance” as well as his first full length solo album effort.
This first full length record had two Top 10 hits including “If It Weren’t for Him” and “Oklahoma Borderline.” Eventually hits like this would become second nature to Vince Gill who would go on to have numerous chart toppers not only on his own but with his duets with other artists in the industry. This included songs such as “Cinderlla,” “Liza Jane,” “Look at Us” and “Take Your Memory With You.” He would go on to have numerous Platinum certified records and win several CMA awards. He was also the host of the CMA Award ceremonies, proving he was one of the most notable faces in all of country music.
To date, Vince Gill and his career have let to slow down. He is still recording hit records and appearing alongside some of the biggest names in the industry in his collaborations. As of 2012 he has sold more than 26 million albums across the country and received 18 CMA Awards and is second only to Brooks and Dunn for more CMA Awards in history. He has also won 20 Grammy Awards to date, proving to be one of the most awarded solo country artists ever in the industry. Of course, Vince Gill is still touring as well and bringing energetic live performances of some of his biggest hits to fans across the country. These unique performances can be seen in his latest tour will will take the artist through 2012 performing in large arenas all around the UNited States.
