As soon as he began his career as a guitar player in the band Bloodline, there was no denying that Joe Bonamassa was a unique and original talent, both when it came to his instrumentation skills and his ability to entertain. After Bloodline broke up and Joe Bonamassa released his first solo album in 2000, it was clear to the world that this unique guitarist was here to say. The musician, singer-songwriter, guitarist and theremin expert is able to create a completely unique sound that can only be described as his own. By combining influences from blues, hard rock and traditional rock and roll Joe Bonamassa was able to reach all types of fans with his first record A New Day Yesterday.
Since this first solo record was released and was a huge hit, the singer has come out with nine more solo studio albums, four live albums and three live DVDs. He has also recorded with the band Black Country Communion and done work with singer Beth Hart. However, it is his work as a solo artist that fans of the performer are most entranced with. Joe Bonamassa has seen great chart success with his albums and has had albums near the top of the Top 40 Albums Chart in the U.K. However, even with great commercial success for fans of the musician it is his live musical performances that are most enticing.
