Mumford and Sons Tickets
When the band Mumford and Sons first came together to, their English folk rock sound was unlike any other sound in mainstream today. However, members Marcus Mumford, Ben Lovett, Country Winston Marshall and Ted Dwane were determined to do something different and energetic with their sound. In a few short years, since forming in December of 2007, the group has managed to become one of the most beloved folk rock bands in music today. After emerging from the West London folk music scene, the band was determined to receive international success, and have managed to achieve massive commercial success both in their home town of London and around the globe.
After a successful EP, the band released their first full length album titled Sigh No More, both in the Uk, Ireland and The United States. The album quickly went to the top of the Billboard Charts in all three countries and cemented the bands status as one of the hottest bands in rock n’ roll today. Their sound mixes a variety of genres and delivers a soothing yet high-energy style that has shown to appeal to fans both young and old. Hot off their billboard success the band hit the road performing in front of larger and larger audiences and making television appearances on programs both in the UK and the United States. They received two Grammy Award Nominations and performed at the 2010 Grammy Awards Ceremony, and later that year received an ARIA Music Award and a Brit Award, among other recognitions.
Even with all of this success behind them, from just one debut album, the band was ready for more and headed back into the studio to record their highly anticipated second studio album, Bable. The sophomore album, which is slated for release in late September of 2012, promises to deliver the same unique sound that brought the band to fame as well as a new twist as the artists continue to add new dimensions to their one-of-a-kind sound. The upcoming release of Bable also spawned an entirely new set of live performances around the country, where the band will be playing hits from their first album as well as new songs set to appear on their second album, to get fans excited for its highly anticipated fall release.
