In 2009, Billboard Magazine named her “Artist of the Year.” Also, Forbes Magazine ranked Taylor the 69th most powerful celebrity with her earning over $18 million. Fearless made her the biggest star of any genre, and ultimately the highest grossing artist of the year.
Taylor became the youngest artist to win the highest honor of the Country Music Association Award for Entertainer of the Year in November 2009.
In 2010, she released her third album, Speak Now and within the first week over one million albums were sold. It took Taylor two years to write the music for the album. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard Top 200 chart.
In 2011, Taylor was ranked the 7th most powerful celebrity with earnings of over $45 million. Billboard also ranked her as the 38th Best Artist of the decade. At this point, she has sold over 20 million albums worldwide. Rolling Stone’s ranked her as only one of two female country artists who made it on the Queens of Pop list.
The end of 2011, she announced on Twitter that “Safe & Sound” was featured on The Hunger Games official movie soundtrack. At the end of the year, Taylor sold over 41 million digital tracks.
Early 2012, she was listed in the Guinness Book Of World Records for the Fastest Selling Digital Album by a Female Artist for her album, Speak Now, and also listed for the Most Simultaneous US Hot 100 Hits by a Female Artist. Billboard name her woman of the year too.
