Eastern Washington Eagles Men’s Basketball Team Tickets
The men’s basketball team for the Eastern Washington University in Cheney, Washington have been representing their school for more than 100 years. The men’s basketball team, often known as just the Eagles, are one of the school’s leading athletic teams and have worked to make a name for themselves within the league over the past few years. Since 1987 the team has competed in the Big Sky Conference and during this time they have won the conference regular season championship twice. They have also be crowned the conference tournament champions as well. Also, during their time as a team the Eagles from Eastern Washington have managed to hold on to an all-time winning record.
During the long history of the Eastern Washington Eagles men’s basketball team, they have also had a number of head coaches, with 19 different leaders taking the position as head coach. They are known for having some of the most talented and successful coaching staffs in their conference and for consistently working with leading coaches. This includes Big Sky Coaches of the Year Steve Aggers and Ray Giacoletti. Head coach Ray Giacoletti is often credited with one of the team’s most successful years to date, where under his leadership the Eagles won their conference in regular season play, were awarded conference tournament champions and made it to the NCAA tournament. This type of leadership has lead the team to a great deal of success over the years as well as a solid following of dedicated fans.
Although they come from a relatively small school the Eastern Washington University Eagles are known for having one of the most intense and dedicated fan bases in their league. This enthusiasm can be seen in the team’s home games held at Reese Court on the school’s campus. The arena can hold approximately 6,000 fans and is known for quickly filling up on home games whenever the Eagles take the field. This arena is often adorned in red and white, the team’s official colors and fans from the team’s official student section, known as “Team Red” can always be found supporting the Eagles and cheering them on to victory season after season.
