The Major League Baseball All-Star Game, or the “Midsummer Classic” as it is often called is one of the biggest games in all of professional baseball and one of the most watched events in the sport. During the annual Major League Baseball All-Star Game players from both the National League and the American League of the MLB are put onto two teams that battle it out in a highly anticipated game. The Major League Baseball All-Star Game is also seen as a major boost to many city economies as fans from all over the country typically come in to see the event live, making many cities with professional baseball teams eager to host the big event.
During the annual game, players usually wear their own team uniforms, instead of new uniforms that represent their conference. This is done so that fans can see which teams are represented in the line up.
