Philadelphia Eagles Tickets
Established in 1933, the Philadelphia Eagles are one of the longest standing teams in the National Football League (NFL) today. They are members of the East Division of the NFC conference and well known for their inner conference rivalry with the New York Giants. However, aside from their long and heated competition with the Giants, which has spanned for decades the Philadelphia Eagles are also known for being one of the most consistently athletic teams in professional football. During their time as an organization they have won three NFL titles, pre-Superbowl, and appeared in two different Super Bowls although they have yet to secure a Super Bowl title.
One of the other things that the Philadelphia Eagles are known for within the NFL are their fans. For decades, Eagles fans have been ranked as some of the best in the league and known mostly for their unparalleled enthusiasm during games. Eagles fans are known for being some of the most loyal, and known for consistently selling out the Eagles’ stadium for home games no matter how good, or bad, the teams record may be.
These record setting home games are played at Lincoln Financial Field or “The Linc” as many in the city of Philadelphia call it. This South Philly field has been the home of the Eagles since 2003 and famously house the fan ‘jail’ a former staple in the teams old Veterans Field and one that was brought to the new stadium to help control unruly fans. Although the jail is no longer used, it is seen as a point of pride among Eagles fans and a reminder to visitors that these fans are some of the most passionate in the league. With nearly 70,000 fans being able to be house in the Lincoln Financial Field stadium to see the home games, there is no denying the impact that the Philadelphia Eagles have had on the city of Philadelphia.
During their time as an organization, the Eagles have had numerous NFL Hall of Fame members and have had modern players like Donovan McNabb, Troy Vincent and current players like Michael Vick appear on the roster as the Eagles continue their tradition of being one of the most competitive teams in the NFL today.
