Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs Hockey Team Tickets
As one of the most successful teams in men’s college hockey, the Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs men’s ice hockey team has a lot to live up to when representing their home University of Minnesota Duluth. The team is a Division I college hockey program and they currently play in the WCHA or the Western Collegiate Hockey Association. The team is known not only for having a great deal of success within their conference and within the league but for having a number of big name NHL players come from their school as well. Players such as John Harrington, Brett Hull, Mark Pavelich, Bob Mason and Glenn Resch have all played for the Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs, among others.
Today the team, who has been lead by head coach Scott Sandelin for over a decade, not only has an impressive list of alumni but an impressive number of accomplishments to their name as well. The team was the NCAA Tournament Champions in 2011. They have also made in to the NCAA Tournament Frozen Four, four different times. They have appeared in the tournament twelve different times during their history as a program, with the first one being in 1983. The Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs have also been their conference tournament champions three different times, and been the regular season champions eleven times as well. This is what has made the team so well known around the country and why they are considered to have a premier men’s ice hockey program.
With accomplishments such as this it is easy to see why the University of Minnesota Duluth team is not only known around their school as being one of the university’s top programs, but that they are known throughout their league for their long history of success. This success can be seen when the team takes the ice at their home arena the AMSOIL Arena in Duluth Minnesota. Here you will find fans dressed head to toe in the team’s home colors of maroon and gold as they cheer on the wildly successful Bulldogs. No matter who the team is playing, thanks to their history of talented players and big name coaches, when the Bulldogs take the ice, fans can expect that they will get a great show every time the team plays.
