National Finals Rodeo Tickets
The National Finals Rodeo is a professional event hosted and organized by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. Often known as the NFR or The World Series of Rodeo, this event is the biggest competition of the season for those who participate in rodeo events. At this live action championship rodeo event, sponsored by Wrangler Jeans fans of the sport of rodeo can see some of the best live action in the sport in what is the biggest competition in rodeo for the cowboys who compete in this annual event.
This ten day event, includes a number of live rodeo performances where cowboys compete for points and the top spot. Event competitions include; bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle bronc riding, barrel racing, tie-down roping and bull riding. Winners are crowned for each event and at the culmination of the National Finals Rodeo, there is one “World All-Around Rodeo Champion Cowboy.” This individual is recognized for the best and highest-earning cowboy who scored the most points overall in the 10 day competition.
Every year, the NFR is held in the first full week of December and is hosted by the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) in Paradise Nevada at the Thomas and Mack Center. The competition is not only a huge event for the sport of rodeo but for the university as well who prepares for the event far in advance and even stores ‘special dirt’ for the even competition on their campus. The team’s basketball team also yearly has to schedule road trips around the event to make room for the rodeo competioin at the Thomas and Mack Center.

However, due to its central location, those who still want to get in on the action of the National Finals Rodeo will find that casinos and bars around the city consistently provide coverage of the week of events and even host bets for all of the rodeo related competitions.
