Orlando Magic Tickets
The professional basketball team from Orlando Florida, known as the Magic have been one of the most successful teams in the NBA (National Basketball Association) over the past few years, despite being relatively new to the league by NBA standards. This professional basketball team was first formed in 1989 as part of a NBA expansion and has gone on to be the most successful of the four teams that were brought to the league as part of that expansion effort. The team, which is owned by Orlando Magic, Ltd. is also known for having one of the most dedicated fan bases in all of the NBA. This is because as of 2012 the Orlando Magic are the only of the ‘big four’ professional sports teams to call the city of Orlando home.
Today, the Orlando Magic play in the Southeast Division of the Eastern Conference in the NBA. During their young history they have been in the playoffs for over half of their time as a team; a feat that most NBA teams can not play. They have made 14 playoff appearances as a team after just 23 years as an organization. They have won five division titles during this time and gone on to win two conference titles in the Eastern Conference as well.
Even with their highly successful record during their time as a franchise, the Orlando Magic are actually most known for some of the big name players that they have had on their roaster. As a franchise the Orlando Magic have had big name players such as Penny Hardaway, Tracy McGrady, Shaquille O’Neal, Grant Hill, Rashard Lewis, Vince Carter and Dwight Howard on their team; leaving them with one of the most talented lists of team alumni in the league today.
The Orlando Magic and their entire city of dedicated fans can be found in their home town of downtown Orlando Florida where they play their home games at the Amway Center arena. This arena is known for quickly selling out as when the Orlando Magic take the court at home the entire city stands behind them. This type of dedication has helped the team quickly become the success that they are known as being today.
