The city of St. Louis, Missouri is the largest city in the state of Missouri and is a city filled with a rich history. The Cardinals have won several World Series titles and are one of the most widely followed professional baseball teams in the area. Hockey fans can also enjoy watching the successful St. Louis Blues NHL hockey team, who host their home games in the downtown Scottrade Center.

The music scene in St. Louis, Missouri is very diverse. The city is known for having many live jazz and blues performers; thanks to the heavy southern influence in the town. The rap music scene in St. Louis is also growing thanks to popular rappers like Nelly and the St. Lunatics that call St. Louis home. Concerts are held at many small venues throughout the city and larger concerts can be seen at the Scottrade Center downtown and at the Chaifetz Arena, which is on Saint Louis University campus in midtown. Those interested in live theater can find numerous Broadway shows being played at the city’s historical Fox Theater in midtown. Classical music fans can also enjoy getting tickets to the newly re-opened St. Louis Opera House.
