Penn and Teller Tickets
The American born illusionists Penn and Teller have been a performance duo since the late 1970s and continue to entertain audiences around the world today. They have put on numerous live stage shows and recorded a number of television specials throughout their long and wildly successful career. While many come to see their over-the-top tricks, their performances are perhaps most notably characterized by the dynamic of the two performers. During their shows Teller typically remains silent, while Penn Jillette spends a great deal of the performance talking and entertaining.
The duo is also wildly popular for their unique approach to live magical performances. Instead of focusing their shows on being family-friendly performances in the way other illusionists do; they take a different approach to this entertainment art. They focus on gory tricks, over-the-top pranks and spend a great deal of their shows exposing frauds. They even have their own television show that shows the two outside of their normal stage routine.
During their career they have gotten rave reviews for their unique Off Broadway show, have had two successful Broadway runs and recorded an Emmy Award winning television special called Penn and Teller Go Public. They have also made live television appearances on shows like Saturday Night Live, the Late Show with David Letterman and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Their numerous television performances and appearances on sitcoms like The West Wing, Home Improvement and Sabrina, the Teenage Witch; made the duo household names. They have also had numerous fraud-exposing shows and appearances on different networks as well.
Even though they are known across the country for their silly act and their comedic banter; their live shows remain at the core of their entertainment arsenal. Since 2001, they have performed six nights at week at their live show in Las Vegas. The show is held at the Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino in Vegas and features an array of their most over the top tricks from all decades of their career. The show can still be seen in Las Vegas today, every night of the week except Fridays. Although the performance continues to include some of the duo’s most famed tricks; it still has had audiences amazed and entertained for many years.
