Cirque du Soleil - Criss Angel: Believe debut in 2008 and was revamped in 2010 as a theatrical production held at the Luxor hotel in Las Vegas. Criss Angel is a famous magician known from his television show, “Mind Freak.” The Criss Angel: Believe show takes Criss’ magical illusions and combines it with flair and artistry to create an unbelievable show. He brings 40 mind-blowing illusions to the stage and you won’t believe your eyes.The show is a winner of the 22nd Louie Award for “Outstanding Achievement in the Art of Magic.”
Cirque du Soleil is an entertainment company based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and was found in 1984 by Guy Laliberté and Daniel Gauthier. It is named as the contemporary circus, which is a theatrical and character driven approach without animals performing.
The setting of the show is set in the dark with gothic accents and has the reminiscence of old-fashioned circuses and carnivals with an added morbid twist. The show is breathtaking and features Criss’ stunning illusions with fantastical creatures with mystifying effects. You can expect to be taken to a magical place with the illusions and magic tricks overwhelming your mind. Some of the songs include; “Homeage to the rabbits,” “The life factory,” “Sexy pet,” “The magic doors” and many other whimsical songs to go along with the characters and performances throughout the show.
