Terminal 5 Tickets
The music venue Terminal 5 is a New York City venue that is owned and operated by the group The Bowery Presents. This company was formed from the management team behind the Bowery Ballroom in New York City and currently manages and oversees a number of venues around the city. The company also owns the Mercury Lounge,th Music Hall of Williamsburg and the Wellmont Theatre. Terminal 5 is located in Hell’s Kitech in New York City off of West 56th Street and west of 11th Avenue. Its convenient location within the are has made the Terminal 5 venue a popular destination for local city dwellers since it first opened its doors.
The venue was originally a nightclub known as Club Exit for many years. However, after an issue with the DEA the night club was closed in 2003. While many thought the building would be abandoned after the DEA issue those behind The Bowery Presents bought the property with intentions of adding to their line of New York music venues. The new venue reopened under the Terminal 5 name in 2003 to massive crowds and went under a renovation in 2007 to improve the size, style and acoustics within the venue.
Currently the trendy Terminal 5 location is designed to offer a live music/nightclub experience unlike any other in the city. The event site has multiple-levels and five distinct room environments so guests can enjoy a unique experience each time they visit the Terminal 5 venue. The total venue has a capacity of 3,000 people but is known for selling out particularly when bigger name rock bands make appearances at the night club. Most shows at the Terminal 5 venue are 21 and older only.
During the events, alcoholic beverages are sold to guests along with light snacks. Depending on the evening and the performances there is usually at least one smoking section open to guests. There is also a roof top bar and deck for guests to enjoy before and after the performances. In addition to bringing in many up and coming bands into the New York music scene, Terminal 5 is known for bringing in some bigger names as well such as Flying Lotus, Marina and the Diamonds, Fiona Apple and Morrissey.
