Known by many simply as “The Big A” there are a few key characteristics that make this stadium truly stand out. Not only is it the fourth oldest active MLB stadium but it also features the landmark “Big A” sign and electronic marquee in the stadium. There is also a halo located near the top of this massive “A” which towers more than 230 feet above the ground. The halo is only illuminated when the Angels have won, either at home or on the road, and has started a now famous chant among Angels fans “Light Up the Halo!”
With features such as this and a history that includes several play off games and All-Star games there is no denying that the Angels Stadium at Anaheim is one of the most unique baseball stadiums in the sport today.
