AT&T Center Tickets
Located on the east side of San Antonio, Texas is the AT&T Center; an indoor arena designed for multi-purpose entertainment events. While the center has brought in many big name concerts and entertainment events, it is known by many for being the home of the NBA basketball team, the San Antonio Spurs, one of the city’s most successful professional teams. The venue is also home to the city’s WNBA team the San Antonio Silver Stars. The venue is also the home of the San Antonio Rampage; the teams professional ice hockey team.
Inside the arena, fans can enjoy 2,018 comfortable club seats and 50 different luxury suites. Together with the traditional seating in the venue; the AT&T Center can host up to 18,581 fans for both NBA and WNBA basketball games. For ice hockey games the arena can hold around 13,800 fans and for most concerts the stadium can seat 18,000. The arena was designed specifically with the Spurs in mind after they campaigned for several years for a new facility after they primarily played at the Alamadome.
The arena first opened in 2002, under the control of Spurs Sports and Entertainment. The naming rights were quickly bought by AT&T. Although the Spurs most commonly call this center home, there are other attendants that come in annually to use the AT&T Center, mainly the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo Association’s annual multi-day event. The event is typically held in February and causes the Spurs to take a road trip.
No matter what event fans are attending whether is a community car show, home Spurs game or an ice hockey game, this modern indoor arena was designed specifically with fan needs in mind. Inside the facility fans can enjoy comfortable seating and an array of fixed and carted concessions. Fans can easily rent a suite for private events, or to attend one of the center’s concerts or home Spurs games. In this arena fans will not only find these types of amenities but several homages to the highly successful run of the San Antonio Spurs and awards, photos and banners from their numerous NBA Championship wins in the past decade.
